What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bio Grads position at Healthcare Hiring Firm?
We are currently looking for enthusiastic Biology (or Allied Sciences) Graduates to join our Health Care Organization (Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine) based in North Carolina.
You will enjoy better quality of life, more time with family, save gas money as we offer a four-day work week - Monday to Thursday (8.30 AM to 6.30 PM).
As a paid Medical Assistant or Scribe, you will assist our Providers in the examination and treatment of patients by following established standards and procedures.
You will be trained and employed for the below given key responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of both direct and indirect patient care duties under the direction and supervision of our Providers.
- Verify the patient history, chief complaint, current medications, medical history, allergies, surgical history, family history, social history and other preventative medicine reviews and records information in the patient electronic medical record.
- Measure and record vital signs and record them in the EHR.
- Triage incoming phone calls and/or patients in the office.
- Explain treatment procedures and prepare both the patient and exam room for examination.
- Handing instruments or equipment as directed.
- Assist Physician with any/all procedures as requested.
- Complete electronic medical records to include medical services rendered, test results and supplies used.
- Provide patient education as directed by the Provider.
- Assist front office team whenever needed by performing additional clerical duties including: Patient check-in/out, referrals, prescription medication management, inbound/outbound telephone calls etc.
