DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and ensure timely resolution of help desk tickets.
- Serve as a technical resource for troubleshooting and diagnosing IT-related issues.
- Act as a service and support contact for clients and vendors.
- Engage with all aspects of the infrastructure technology environment.
- Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure.
- Serve as an escalation resource for lower-tier support personnel.
- Maintain and monitor system and data backups.
- Research and recommend emerging technologies to meet future business needs.
- Install, administer, and maintain software and hardware programs.
- Monitor job error and database auditing logs.
- Identify and resolve data integration issues in collaboration with users.
- Manage application user accounts with different roles and profiles.
- Support application and database development throughout the software lifecycle.
- Ensure optimized performance, integrity, and security of data.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
- Conduct periodic database health checks and capacity planning for data growth.
- Be available for on-call emergencies and occasional work outside normal business hours.
- Provide IT support at different locations as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Work professionally with internal staff and external vendors to deliver high-quality service.
- Maintain professionalism and uphold the organization’s standards for customer service.
- Follow best practices for phone and in-person interactions with users and staff.
- Respect the privacy and dignity of employees and clients.
- Act as a role model by demonstrating professionalism, problem-solving skills, and commitment to the organization.
- Comply with applicable regulations, including Joint Commission, OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA.
- Adhere to organizational policies and industry standards to ensure compliance and security.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or at least seven (7) years of relevant experience.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Extensive experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise Windows infrastructure design and operations.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy management.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting is preferred.
- Experience with VMware and vSphere is a plus.
- Understanding of SQL.
- Experience in maintaining data interfaces.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel to different locations as needed.
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid California driver’s license, and current automobile insurance.
