As an Account Manager, your main objective will be to build and maintain strong relationships with our large accounts in the laundry/manufacturing industry. You will be responsible for managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your ultimate goal will be to drive revenue growth and increase market share by effectively managing and expanding our customer accounts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in account management or sales role
  • Strong knowledge of the manufacturing industry and its key players
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
  • Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in new business development and market expansion
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Must be proficient in Excel and Google. Power Point and MS Word
  • Must pass Motor Vehicle Check, Criminal Background Check, and possible Drug Screen 
  • Must be able to communicate with customers and employees effectively and professionally

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to travel long distances daily with some overnights 
  • Meeting regularly with Plant Manager/General Manager to discuss soiled/return linen issues that the plant is having
  • Attend tradeshows (set up and take down) to showcase TCS services and products.
  • Work with Director of Customer Service and Vendors on ways to continue to assist customers in reducing costs by providing proper training, linen fairs, linen awareness days etc...

In this role, you will utilize your strong account management skills to develop and execute strategic account plans, identify new business opportunities, and build and maintain relationships with key accounts. Your ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with clients will be crucial in achieving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, your knowledge of the manufacturing industry and its key players will enable you to identify potential risks and opportunities and make informed decisions. You will also utilize CRM software and sales analytics tools to analyze data and track sales performance, allowing you to make data-driven decisions and optimize sales strategies.
