As a Linen Distribution Technician, your responsibilities include providing great customer service to our healthcare partners; delivery of linen carts to departments inside the hospital, picking up soiled linen carts, maintaining inventory of linen in unit closets, relaying any issues or special requests to the Linen Services Manager, and always maintaining a professional look and attitude.
Essential Functions of the position:
- Providing Excellent Customer Service to our healthcare partners
- Work independently and communicate effectively with hospital personnel
- Pushing and pulling carts around the hospital
- Lifting up to 50lbs.
- Count, identify, and track inventory (basic mathematics)
- Dexterous enough to build linen carts per order information
- Pick up soiled linen carts and deliver them to the dock for pickup
- Cross-train in other departments/positions as needed
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
