The maintenance technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems. This position will work closely with multiple personnel in a fast-paced industrial environment, including machine operators and other maintenance employees. Pay is negotiable.
Responsibilities :
- Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
- Provides emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform periodic tests and checks of all electrical equipment.
- Tear down equipment, rebuild and replace defective parts and components such as motors, gear boxes, clutches and bearings as needed.
- Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Work safely, accurately, quickly, and independently to keep the equipment operating.
- Install electrical wiring systems to handle required loads for various machines.
- Work closely with production personnel on equipment repairs.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
