Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business with 12-15 clients, providing white-glove service and representing client success through participation in finalist meetings and implementations.
- Own the preparation, delivery, and execution of renewal strategies, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and demonstrating HMA value.
- Recommend products and services relevant to client needs, regularly updating the CRM to communicate client and broker activities across the organization.
- Participate in projects as needed, serving as a subject matter expert for client success functions.
Requirements
- BA degree in a healthcare-related field, communications, or business administration.
- WA State Agents License, Life & Disability, or other professional designation (e.g., CEBS, HIAA) preferred upon hire, with the option to complete within the first 90 days.
- 1-2 years' experience in the health insurance industry, with 1-2 years working directly with clients and brokers.
- 2 years of account management experience, with extensive knowledge of ERISA, Benefit Plan Management, Self-Funded Benefit Plans, and Stop Loss.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional presence and appearance.
Compensation
The base salary for this position in the greater Seattle area is $80,000-$85,000, with performance-based incentive bonuses available.
