Healthcare Management Advisors, located in the Greentree area, has been providing medical billing and consulting to physicians, and private practices for over 30 years. We are currently seeking a Medical Biller to join our billing team.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Posting charges and payments
- Processing denials and insurance appeals
- A/R follow up
- Handle incoming patient calls
- Patient collection calls
Applicants for the position should have the following qualifications:
- 2 plus years experience in medical billing
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
- Good communication and computer skills is a must
- Experience with Tebra, IMS/Meditab, Medicat, or NextGen a plus
- Experience with chiropractic and podiatry specialties a plus
