We are looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the management of all levels of nursing staff to ensure accountability to all standards of nursing practice, quality care, and treatments.
- Takes a lead role in regular facility rounds and monitoring of resident status.
- Maintains awareness of all resident clinical care issues.
- Acts as a leader in observing and instructing clinical staff with resident care.
- Assists the Director of Nursing (DNS) in the overall training of nursing staff to support clinical services and to meet and exceed established clinical competency levels.
- Provides daily oversight of the RN Supervisors, Charge Nurses, and CNAs.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the State of Connecticut, required.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance/Improvement processes, required.
- Bachelors or Associate degree in a health care related field, preferred.
- Experience in a supervisory position in long-term care, preferred.
