Legal Consultant / Senior Attorney
A growing law firm with two national locations is seeking a Senior Attorney to support a growing base of healthcare clients. The Senior Attorney will primariy be assigned one client to focus on all legal needs. Healthcare experience is required, and experience with long-term care is very helpful. Should have experience with all aspects of a healthcare legal needs including mergers, acquisitions, contracts, loan documents, lines of credit, loan conversions, and other transactional related duties. Knowledge of employmentt law is required along with knowledge of Department of Labor regulations. Position will support clients with employment related legal issues. Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations is also helpful to better support the client base. The Senior Attorney will work closely with assigned clients and provide legal support as needed including but not limited to designing policies, procedures, best practices, etc. Senior Attorney may be asked to also help manage other legal teams supporting the client.
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum 8 years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in healthcare related field.
- Proven experience in managing legal teams could be helpful.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
