Medical Insurance Billing Representative

Job Description

We are a company located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado with clients around the United States. Currently, we are looking to fill a few full-time work-from-home openings for a Medical Insurance Representative in your area. Essential duties will be to handle medical billing, follow-up tasks, appeals, and obtain payment and ensure accurate account resolution. We are looking for professionals who will represent our company well.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Proficiency in Epic, Meditech, or Cerner systems required
• Possess excellent phone and customer service skills and abilities
• Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in professional and hospital billing and follow-up tasks (inclusive of payer calls and use of portals)
• Medicare billing experience preferred
• Experience filing medical insurance appeals
• ICD-10 coding knowledge preferred
• Organized and dependable and analytical
• Accurate and thorough in performing work assignments
• Able to work well independently and with a team
• Able to meet established goals
• Adaptable and resourceful
• Bilingual skills a plus, but not required
• High speed internet
• A quiet work space, void of distractions or background noises
