Position Summary:
The Data Administration Coordinator is responsible for the identifying/obtaining, entering and auditing the mission critical data required to keep the Organization’s data processing running smoothly. Primary duties include building and maintaining data definitions, identifying reliable sources of data, data entry, data verification and working with business customers to ensure data needs are met. The Data Administration Coordinator collaborates and participates in the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of various projects regarding the data needs associated with HCP’s applications and partners’. The Data Administration Coordinator works closely with other Data Solutions staff to deliver strategic and extensible data capabilities that meets both the immediate business need and is positioned for future need/reuse. The Data Administration Coordinator adheres and contributes to data standards, methods and best practices. The Data Administration Coordinator leads the creation of best practices recommendations, tutorials and presentations to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders.

Essential Position Functions/Responsibilities:
- Ability to interact with the business customer to understand requirements and translate into data requirements.
- Possess deep understanding of the business operations, data sources, data quality needs and master data management.
- Understand data lifecycles to ensure the continual improvement and accuracy of enterprise data.
- Assist with the design, development and engineering of end-to-end data management processes and procedures across multiple data sources and systems of record.
- Ensure integrity, security and completeness throughout the data lifecycle by creating and utilizing data quality checks to ensure high quality of data.
- Assists with the design and development of new data approaches in partnership with the Data Solutions staff to enable quick and easy consumption of data.
- Stays current of and propose usage of new and existing organizational data and data trends.
- Adhere to existing processes as documented and actively participate in the development of new processes that adhere to best practices methodology.
- Evaluate and anticipate the impact of data on business and technical needs; identify key performance indicators to quantify performance and deliverables. Track Metrics and advise Senior Management on progress and problems.
- Ensure that data solutions meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve issues.
- Liaise with Information Technology Information Security, Information Technology Operations and Project Management Office to coordinate delivery solutions.
- Cultivate, disseminate, and enforce Information Technology policies, procedures and best practices, ensuring all Information Technology methodology and processes (Project Management, SDLC and Change Management) are followed and that processes are documented.
- Possess strong skills in relationship management and communication.
- Stay up-to-date on data trends within the organization and proactively identifying potential data impacts.
