Healthcare Recruiters seeks a G-Licensed (LGPC or LMSW) Child & Adolescent Outpatient Therapist and a C-Licensed Therapist (LCSW or LMFT or LCPC) with a Maryland licensure. Located in Columbia, MD. Flexible full-time and part-time, remote (for C-Licensed residing in MD only), onsite and hybrid options available.
Our client is a 20 plus year old fully licensed and accredited private community mental health treatment center. They provide a full range of outpatient services including intensive outpatient, medication management and traditional outpatient care.
Their IOP and traditional outpatient center is expanding and offering an extraordinary opportunity for a Maryland C licensed LMFT, LCSW, LCSW-C or LCPC to learn how to run an outpatient practice but without the risks. You can set your own work schedule, provide individual, family or group therapy.
This licensed therapist would work in the outpatient department providing individual, group and family therapy to children & adolescents from the ages of 3 to 21 with mental and behavioral health issues. This position will be part of a team that will include board-certified child psychiatrists, nurse practitioners and masters trained licensed therapists.
REQUIREMENTS:
- This C-licensed person must have LMFT, LCSW, LCSW-C, or LCPC licensure in MD.
- G-Licensed person must have LGPC or LMSW in MD - lower salary than the C-Licensed therapist.
- Have good experience working with children and adolescents with various mental and behavioral health issues.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing therapy to children and adolescents (individually and family); group experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strongly prefer (not mandatory) someone that specializes in younger children (under 10) as most current providers prefer adolescent clients.
- Prefer background in play therapy, working with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD.
- Must be comfortable working independently and is able to self-manage.
- Working evenings is a plus, since most kids need after-school appointments.
- Must have Covid vaccine to work onsite.
Salary : $55,000 - $100,000
