Excellent opportunity has come open for a Regional Trainer Speech Therapist to oversee and mentor new grads and SLPs under a Conditional License. Clinical setting includes short-stay rehab, long-term care, home health care & minimal outpatient. Role reports to a Director of Clinical Operations and collaborates with the leadership team. Regional SLP develops & implements an SLP-CFY mentorship program, completing clinical coverage between 2 sister locations and works as a liaison to the Directors. This leadership position requires the seasoned skills of a full-time Speech Pathologist to not only serve as a floating SLP clinician, but to also serve as a regional mentor and developer of a Clinical Fellowship Program so as to attract and retain entry-level SLP conditionally licensed clinicians. This candidate will be required to network with Ohio and Indiana colleges and universities so as to promote our facilities as clinical sites for current students and to seek applicants for any open position that we may have within our locations. Role will be able to work remotely as well as within a primary location, as yet to be determined. This position requires the need to allocate time towards evaluating and treating patients, communicating with families, physicians, and other team members and maintaining documentation of services in the medical record. Restorative and maintenance procedures for patients are taught by the SLP if applicable to other facility staff on an ongoing and as needed basis. For additional details contact recruiter.

Requires a Licensed Speech Pathologist with 1 plus years of experience. Ideal candidate has 2 years of experience and enjoys mentoring new graduates. Ability to develop and implement a SLP-CFY mentorship program. Clinical coverage as needed between 2 sister locations. Hours are standard day time 8-4 or 9-5 hours.
Compensation up to 120K base, plus 10K sign on/ relocation package. Mileage, cell phone reimbursement plus company Laptop. Three weeks of PTO, paid holidays, excellent medical benefits and 401(k). CEU reimbursement and licensure renewal fees paid.
Location near Upper Sandusky and Ada, Ohio. East commute to Fort Wayne Indiana. Great area live within reasonable distance to facilities. City tour and housing tour offered during on site interview.
