About the Role:
We are looking for a board-certified or board-eligible physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) or Anesthesiology, fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Management. The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a passion for quality patient care, and a team approach to medicine. They will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive pain management services to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history and relevant imaging studies
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pain conditions
- Perform interventional pain management procedures as medically necessary
- Refer patients for imaging and consultation with other specialties when needed
- Regularly reassess patients to determine effectiveness and progress
- Educate patients on their diagnosis, treatment plan options, post-procedure care, and lifestyle modifications
- Coordinate treatment plans with patients and other team members
Qualifications:
- Board certification or board eligibility in PM&R or Anesthesiology
- Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management
- Current and active medical license in Alabama and Florida
