Responsibilities
As a Medical Director at HCRC, you will be responsible for:
- Actively participating in interdisciplinary team and patient care conferences, reviewing and approving rehabilitation care plans as needed
- Diagnosing and treating patients in a patient-centered, compassionate environment
- Providing coverage as a hospitalist-based physician and as a medical director position
- Oversight of practice management when working with mid-level providers, as well as other clinical and non-clinical staff
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A valid Medical license in KS
- MD/DO BCBE in Physical Medicine and Rehab (PM&R) / Physiatry
- Federal DEA and possess or eligible for Kansas Controlled Substance Certificate
- ACLS Certified
