Orthopedic Surgeon / Orthopedist
We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon / Orthopedist to join our medical practice full time in the Northern VA and Southern MD area.
About Our Practice
Our vertically integrated musculoskeletal practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients injured in motor vehicle accidents and work-related injuries. We also offer additional specialties including neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, primary care, and chiropractic/physical therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient care and management for patients with occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
- Recommend tests and conduct diagnostic testing to determine the extent of injury and appropriate treatment.
- Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury.
- Perform surgery when medically necessary (if an operative Orthopedic Surgeon).
Requirements
- MD/DO from an accredited educational institution.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of VA and MD.
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery (general orthopedic surgeon).
- Favorable malpractice history.
