Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team at Healthcare Services Group (HCSG). As a key member of our nutritional services team, you will play a critical role in managing nutritional services at a long-term care facility.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of nutrition care regulations and be able to develop individualized meal plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. You will also provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve overall health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop personalized meal plans
- Evaluate and document residents' nutritional status and progress
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position, requiring 16 hours of work per week. The schedule is flexible, allowing for a balance between work and personal life.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $35-$45 per hour, varying based on factors such as location, years of experience, and staffing needs.
