About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Dietitian to manage nutritional services at our long-term care facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Nutrition Services: Develop and implement individualized meal plans to meet the nutritional needs of residents.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines related to nutrition care.
- Nutrition Education: Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff to promote healthy eating habits.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Certification/License: Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
- Skill Set: Strong organizational and communication skills, knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations, and ability to maintain a positive attitude.
