We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at a long-term care facility. As a Registered Dietitian at HCSG, you will play a critical role in managing nutritional services, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and providing education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents' nutritional needs and develop personalized meal plans
- Ensure compliance with nutrition care regulations and guidelines
- Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
- Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred)
