Job Summary:
The Registered Dietitian at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. plays a critical role in managing nutritional services in long-term care facilities. Key responsibilities include assessing the nutritional needs of residents and developing personalized meal plans that meet their unique requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Audit and implement compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines related to nutrition care
- Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress, providing recommendations for improvement as needed
- Develop and deliver comprehensive nutrition education programs for residents, families, and staff members
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance overall health and well-being of residents
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
- Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred)
Additional Information:
- Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- Valid Driver's License (if multi-site registered dietitian)
