Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a Registered Dietitian at Healthcare Services Group, Inc., you will play a critical role in managing nutritional services at our long-term care facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans to ensure their optimal health and well-being.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines related to nutrition care.
- Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress, providing regular updates to our interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff, promoting healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being, including medication management, wound care, and mental health support.
- Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in your role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), demonstrating expertise in the field of dietetics.
- Hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice, ensuring you remain up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Maintain a positive attitude, remaining calm and composed in fast-paced environments, and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
