Job Description
- Assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans that cater to their specific requirements.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines related to nutrition care.
- Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress to inform evidence-based decisions.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff to promote healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being through comprehensive care planning.
- Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, ensuring expertise in nutrition care.
- Hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice, reflecting commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and problem-solving.
- Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, prioritizing resident safety and well-being.
- If multi-site registered dietitian, must have a valid Driver's License for travel between facilities.
