- Nutritional Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' nutritional needs, taking into account their medical history, dietary preferences, and lifestyle factors.
- Meal Planning: Develop personalized meal plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident, ensuring they receive the necessary nutrients for optimal health and well-being.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines related to nutrition care, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, administrators, and caregivers, to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Valid certification/license in good standing within the state of practice.
- Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred).
