Job Overview
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Dietary Care Specialist. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the nutritional needs of residents are met through the development of individualized meal plans and provision of nutrition education and counseling.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized meal plans that meet the nutritional needs of residents
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' nutritional status and document progress
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines related to nutrition care
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- If multi-site registered dietitian, must have valid Driver's License
