About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Nutrition Services Manager at one of our long-term care facilities. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional needs of residents and developing individualized meal plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
- Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
- Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred)
