Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Nutrition Services Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing nutritional services in a long-term care facility, focusing on the assessment of residents' nutritional needs and developing tailored meal plans. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the health and well-being of residents while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
- Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred).
