Job Description:
As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a critical role in managing nutritional services at our long-term care facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans that cater to their specific requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assess residents' nutritional needs and develop tailored meal plans
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
- Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field, as well as registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Additionally, you should hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
