Key Responsibilities
\As our SEC Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our company's financial statements. Your primary focus will be on reviewing and approving journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned areas, as well as managing the preparation and submission of statutory financial statements.
\You will also conduct research on new SEC regulations and GAAP updates, presenting key findings to accounting leadership. Additionally, you will oversee financial statement data collection, consolidation, and XBRL updates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
\A bachelor's degree in accounting is required, along with 5 years of experience in public accounting or within a SEC or financial reporting department. A CPA license is highly preferred, or a willingness to pursue certification is required.
