Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team. As a Nutrition Specialist, you will play a vital role in assessing nutritional needs, creating individualized meal plans, and providing nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess nutritional needs of residents and create individualized meal plans.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
- Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance residents' overall health and well-being.
- Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
- Knowledge of state survey processes and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
