What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining Server position at Healthcare Services & Senior?
Peoples Senior Living is looking for reliable customer service-minded individuals with experience in the service industry.
We have 1 Full Time Thursday to Monday from 1pm-7pm opening for a Dining Server in our Assisted Living community. The Dining Server provides residents and guests with quick, efficient, and pleasant food delivery. Ensures good customer service, safety, and proper handling of dishes, glassware, and utensils
Some Responsibilities:
- Ensure residents receive meals in a timely manner; inclusive of taking and delivering orders.
- Responds to resident and guest requests. Interacts with guests in the dining room to ensure their satisfaction.
- Ensures accuracy of orders and food quality.
- Reports issues/concerns to management immediately.
- May assist with the preparation and assembly of meals, in accordance with the menu and in a safe, sanitary manner under the direction of the Cook or Dining Services Coordinator/Manager as needed.
- Follows departmental procedures, including sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules.
- Labels and date all food products in the refrigerator, freezer, and food storage area and properly dispose of refuse.
- Sets, clears, and cleans tables; removes dirty dishes, disposes of refuse and waste materials, and restocks inventory as needed.
Qualifications and skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable team player with a caring attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient at multi-tasking, organization, and flexibility
- Clean background check
- Food Handler card within 14 days
- Dementia/ Mental Health training within 90 days (provided)
