The Interventional Radiologist Physician advances minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to provide effective diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. This esteemed role leverages advanced imaging technologies for precision treatments, addressing complex conditions while exemplifying commitment to excellence in patient care and innovative clinical practice within a collaborative healthcare environment.
We are an employed group of eight providers (5 physicians and 3 physician assistants).
Our group treats the breadth of IR including but not limited to : interventional oncology, portal hypertension, spinal augmentation, venous disease, pain management, women’s health, trauma and dialysis access management.
100% IR except interpreting follow up imaging for our patients.
Consult and rounding service managed by our PAs.
Department has two dedicated single plane angiography suites, one biplane, CT scanner, and two suites for ultrasound guided procedures.
Complete support staff team :
14 technicians
13 registered nurses
2 scheduling coordinators
1 office manager
Dedicated 12 bed recovery room for IR.
Dedicated space for outpatient consults and follow-ups.
Responsibilities
Interpret diagnostic imaging studies to accurately identify vascular and non-vascular conditions.
Devise and implement minimally invasive treatment plans employing advanced procedural techniques.
Conduct image-guided interventions, ensuring precision and adherence to strict safety protocols.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop optimized, patient-specific care strategies.
Provide expert consultations to referring physicians regarding procedural options and imaging findings.
Ensure comprehensive patient assessment and meticulous monitoring throughout the intervention process.
Uphold rigorous standards in documentation and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
Possesses a medical degree from an accredited institution along with a completed residency in radiology.
Holds board certification in diagnostic and interventional radiology, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of practice.
Demonstrates advanced proficiency in minimally invasive procedures and image-guided treatments through specialized fellowship training.
Maintains a comprehensive understanding of vascular, oncologic, and neuro-interventional techniques.
Committed to continuous education and research to integrate cutting-edge technologies and evidence-based protocols.
Exhibits meticulous precision, analytical skills, and a compassionate approach in patient management.
