JOB DESCRIPTION
- Operating imaging equipment and ensuring the safety of all medical staff and patients from unnecessary radiation exposure.
- The position is Monday-Friday. The shift will be from 0730-1600 and / or 0700-1530. No weekends or On-Call.

Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain and operate cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs in a patient's body to create diagnostic images.Position patients and select anatomic and technical factors accurately.Order, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data / history).Ensure equipment is properly functioning.Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel.Lock / tag out equipment if appropriate.Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department.QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)National Institutes of Health (NIH)Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) CertificationSound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.The ability to stand for extended periods.Strong technical skills.Knowledge of medical terminologyPassionate about patient careThe nuclear medicine technologist must be certified as an ARRT(American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) with Nuclear Medicine and / or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board).Required a minimum of two years of experience.Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech / Nuclear Medicine programRequirements :
