Partnered with an established hospital in central Massachusetts that has an opportunity for a skilled Anesthesiologist to provide locum vacation coverage.
About The Opportunity
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-3:30p, specific dates
- No call requirement
- Facility: 6 ORs, 2 endoscopy suites
- Must be able to cover a variety of cases, including general, plastics, orthopedic, urology, gynecologic, endoscopic, and healthy pediatrics
- Regional skills preferred
- Independent coverage and no supervision
- Support Staff: CRNAs
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Active unencumbered Massachusetts Anesthesiologist state license
- Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
- One year of work experience as Anesthesiologist
- One year of Epic experience
- Board Certified
- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
- A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
- COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
