Responsibilities
Collaborating with a medical center in southern Massachusetts with an opportunity for an OB Hospitalist to provide short-term locum coverage.
Opportunity Highlights :
Schedule : 24-hour in-house shifts, 8a-8a
700-800 deliveries per year
Case Volume : 2 scheduled surgeries per day, 2 inductions per day max
Responsibilities : Inductions, ER consults
2 operating rooms, no NICU
Support Staff : CNM, RNs, surgical PAs, backup MDs, peds attend deliveries, MFM accessible by phone 24 / 7
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered Massachusetts Internal Medicine OB state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as OB Hospitalist
One year of Epic experience
Board Certified
SKILLS / ABILITIES / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED :
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal / communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
Requirements :
