Responsibilities
A hospital in northeastern Oregon that has an ongoing opportunity for an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to assist their team full-time.
Opportunity Overview :
Schedule : 8a-6p, 3-4 days per week
No call required
Patient Volume : 20-40 per day
Patient Population : All ages
Facility : 1 procedure room, 1 pediatric room, 2 standard exam rooms, 2 isolation rooms
Support Staff : 2-3 clinical support staff per day, mix of RNs and CMAs
EMR : Epic
Must be board-certified

Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered Nurse Practitioner Oregon state license
Graduate from a fully accredited Nurse Practitioner program
One year of work experience as a Urgent Care or Nurse Practitioner
One year of EMR experience
Board Certified
SKILLS / ABILITIES / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED :
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal / communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
Requirements :
COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
