Proud to partner with a hospital in northern Maryland that has an open position for a Chief Medical Officer to oversee its Psychiatry program.
This position will allow an experienced Psychiatrist to oversee an entire psychiatry program while earning quality benefits, including a competitive base salary, a full benefits package, and a $250k sign-on bonus.
Position Details :
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
Call required
Beds : 58
Programs : Inpatient, outpatient, PHP, adult, child and adolescent, and interventional psychiatry
Duties : Will oversee the entire organization
Experience : 5 years of experience preferred
Must be board-certified

Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered MD or DO Psychiarist Massachusetts state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
Three years of work experience as an Adult, Psychiatrist
Minimum of five years as a Chief Medical Officer
One year of EMR experience
Board Certified
SKILLS / ABILITIES / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED :
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal / communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
