Responsibilities
A leading facility in southeastern Florida has a full-time opportunity for a skilled Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist to join their team.

About the Position :
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7a-4p
Call Requirement : Beeper call 1 day per week, 1 weekend per month
Will cover multiple facilities on a main campus
Case Volume : Over 1,000 total cardiac surgical cases per year
Cases : 100% cardiothoracic anesthesia for minimally invasive valve repair / replacement, CABG, adult congenital procedures, aortic reconstruction, and other major vascular cases
Full subspecialty support
Will work with residents, fellows, and SRNAs / CRNAs
Supervision model
EMR : Cerner & Epic
Must be board-certified

Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered Florida physician state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as Cardiothoracic Surgeon
One year of EMR experience
Board Certified

Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal / communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
