Permanent - Primary Care Physician | Syracuse, NY

We are looking for a full-time relationship-centered family physician to add to our team at our near-site employer-sponsored primary care clinic in Syracuse, NY

We are seeking a 40 hour a week primary care physician to lead our new team.

Position Details :

Patient population : Employees & Families of all ages

Acute & Primary Care (focus on preventive medicine)

Care Team : MD, MA & RN

Schedule

If possible, the client would like 2 early days (7 : 00am or 7 : 30am) and 1 late day if possible (late day until 7pm)

Mon : 8 : 00am to 6 : 00pm (1 hour lunch) (9 hours)

Tue : 7 : 00am to 5 : 00pm (1 hour lunch) (9 hours)

Wed : 9 : 00am to 7 : 00pm (1 hour lunch) (9 hours)

Thu : 7 : 00am to 5 : 00pm (1 hour lunch) (9 hours)

Fri : 8 : 00am to 12 : 00pm (4 hours)

No Nights

No Call

No Weekends

Responsibilities

Average of 8-14 patients / day

More time spent with patients to enhance relationships and build trust

Far less time with ICD-10 coding and admin work vs traditional primary care, and admin time is built into the schedule (no need to take home your work!

The opportunity to really improve patient outcomes with a finite patient panel

Annual visits 60 min.

Follow up visits 30 min

Qualifications

MD or DO

Board-certified (or eligible) in Family Medicine or both Internal Medicine & Pediatrics

Comfortable performing well-woman exams and prescribing birth control (a plus)

Procedure experience (a plus)
