Position Highlights :
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8a-4p
Call Requirement : Beeper call 2 months per year
Patient Volume : 14 per day
Setting : 3 school-based clinics
EMR : ECW
Spanish-speakers preferred, interpreters available
Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Qualifications
Must possess a Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Required to hold current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Must have a valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
Demonstrated experience in general surgery or a related field is highly desirable.
Proficiency in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to collaborate effectively with surgical teams.
Commitment to continuing education and staying updated with advancements in surgical practices is expected.
BLS Certification - American Heart Association
Additional Requirements :
Fluoroscopy Permit required, or must be obtained within 18 months from the date of hire in Orthopedics, Interventional Radiology, and Radiation Oncology only.
May be required to have experience and competency in performing specific tasks required by department.
Must be able to work in a Labor / Management Partnership environment.
