Responsibilities
Partnered with a leading hospital on the Gulf Coast of Florida that has a position for a Transplant Hepatologist to join their team full-time.

Position Details :
Schedule : Monday-Friday or Monday-Sunday, 9-hour day shifts
Call Requirement : 1 : 10 call, mainly consults, rare to be called in
Patient Volume : High volume, ~200 transplants per year
Setting : Hospital and clinic
Procedures : Transplants, some endo
Team : 2 teams, with one seeing transplant patients and one seeing hepatology patients
Support Staff : 10 APPs, full subspecialty support
EMR : Epic Phoenix
Must be board-certified

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered MD or DO Florida state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as a Hepatologist
One year of EMR experience
Board Certified

Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal / communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
Requirements :
