JOB DESCRIPTION

Department : Cardiac Cath Labs Anc

Shift timings : Morning Shift 07 : 30 - 16 : 00 Hours

Roles & Responsibilities

Monday-Friday 7 : 30-4 : 00
No call but may work past 4 : 00 to finish cases.
Cath Lab Technician, scrubs and / or monitors left heart catheterizations, right heart catheterizations, pacemakers and some Interventional Radiology cases.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

National Institutes of Health (NIH)

Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification

Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

The ability to stand for extended periods.

Strong technical skills.

Knowledge of medical terminology

Passionate about patient care

Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech / Cardiac Cath Lab Technician program

Minimum three years of current Cardiac Cath Lab Technician experience

Active unencumbered Kansas state license

Requirements :

COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.

Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.

Participates in relevant continuing education programs.

Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.

A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.

Effective interpersonal / communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
