JOB DESCRIPTION
Department : Radiology / Vascular & Echo Sonographer
Shift Timings : 19 : 00 - 07 : 00- Monday to Friday (3 days / 12 Hours)
Per Week : 36 Hours
Strong general sonographer skills RVT and RDMS strongly preferred
Responsibilities
The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound studies, demonstrating good judgment in the use and application of ultrasound equipment.
The incumbent assesses the findings in the ultrasound examinations and assists the radiologist and staff physicians in interpreting the ultrasound studies.
Qualifications
BLS and ACLS
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
The ability to stand for extended periods.
Strong technical skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology
Passionate about patient care
Requires a minimum of two years of current Ultrasound Tech experience.
Graduate from a fully accredited Sonography program
Active unencumbered Iowa Sonography state license
One year of Epic experience
Requirements
