Healthcare Staffing Professionals, HSP is looking for Emergency Medicine Physicians to work in a hospital setting located in Mesquite, TX. The EM Physician will deliver expert, high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This role offers competitive pay, and the opportunity to collaborate with a skilled medical team.
The ED is looking for full-time work (12 shifts / month including 2 weekends) or part-time (6 shifts / month including 1 weekend) and share of Holidays
This position is an Independent Contractor (1099)
Compensation : $250 / hr
Locations : Mesquite, TX
Volume -34K
Schedule : 3 shifts 9-10 hr. shifts
EMR is EPIC w / Dragon

Responsibilities :
Patient Care : Provide immediate and comprehensive medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries in the emergency department.
Clinical Assessment : Perform detailed patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests.
Treatment Plans : Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications, performing procedures, and initiating referrals as necessary.
Crisis Management : Respond to medical emergencies, stabilize critical patients, and coordinate with specialists or other medical staff for advanced care.
Documentation : Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely medical records, including treatment plans, prescriptions, and progress notes.
Team Collaboration : Work closely with nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department operation.
Compliance : Adhere to hospital policies, medical standards, and state and federal regulations governing emergency medicine practice.
Patient Communication : Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care instructions to patients and their families.
Minimum Qualifications :
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with emergency department experience.
Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas.
DEA certification and controlled substance registration.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an emergency department
Proficiency in performing emergency procedures, including intubation, central line placement, and trauma management.
Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication skills for patient and team interactions.
Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS (or willingness to obtain).
Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
