Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is looking for a Elementary Autism Teacher to work in a school setting in Plainfield, CT. This role focuses on providing specialized instruction and support for students with autism in an elementary school setting. The ideal candidate will create an engaging and structured learning environment tailored to the unique needs of students

Pay Rate : $55 / hr

Job Duties :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans ( IEPs ) that support students’ academic, social, and behavioral goals.
• Modify curriculum and adapt instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs.
• Foster a structured and supportive classroom environment that promotes engagement and independence.
• Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive student development.
• Use data collection and progress monitoring to track student achievements and adjust interventions as needed.
• Engage in regular communication with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on learning strategies.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations and school policies.
