Healthcare Staffing Professionals is currently looking for a Vascular Ultrasound Technician to work part-time in our clients offices located in Inglewood, CA. The Vascular Ultrasound Technician will operate various types of ultrasound equipment, transducers, and recording devices.
Pay Rate
70 / hr part-time
Shift : 6hrs a day, 3 days a week
DESCRIPTION
- Under supervision, performs and records all sonographic procedures and assists with some specialty procedures in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
- Operates various types of ultrasound equipment, transducers, and recording devices.
- Recognizes normal and pathological conditions and modifies the exam accordingly to ensure complete and accurate high-quality information is obtained.
- Prepares and positions patient for procedure by using established Ultrasound protocols to achieve the highest quality image.
- Reviews, verifies and evaluates images to ensure excellent image quality.
- Trouble shoots and resolve ultrasound related PACS issues.
- Participates in performance improvement projects within the department.
