Certified Medical Coder – CPC / CCS
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Certified Medical Coder to fill an opening with a Healthcare Organization in The Villages, FL.
Daily Responsibilities for Certified Medical Coder – CPC / CCS :
- Review medical records, provider notes, dictation and other documentation and compare to the actual codes selected by the provider
- Utilize ICD9/ICD10 to code diagnosis and determine principal and significant secondary diagnoses
- Utilize CPT/HPCS to assign and sequence all codes for services rendered
- Shift: Mon-Fri
Required Qualifications for Certified Medical Coder – CPC / CCA / CCS:
- High School Graduate
- 1 years medical coding experience
- One certification required: CPC, CPC-A, CCS, or CRC
