HealthCare Support is currently seeking a Lab Assistant to fill an opening with a leading healthcare organization serving the Medicare population in Seattle, WA, 98104.
The ideal candidate will have the following requirements for the Lab Assistant role:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least two years of recent processing experience in a clinical laboratory required
- Preferred experience includes specimen processing including esoterica reference lab specimen handling and packaging; knowledge of laboratory tests and laboratory ordering processes

Assignment details for the Lab Assistant:
- Job Description: Verifying specimens’ integrity and specimen requirements; Ability to exercise attention to detail, judgement and accuracy with accessioning procedures; Effective communication and teamwork; Outstanding customer service and maintaining relationships that is equally respectful to all; Perform assigned pre-analytical activities related to laboratory equipment and maintenance, inventory control and supply stocking
- Length: 3-6 month Contract to Hire
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM to 5PM
- Location: Seattle, WA, 98104
