Job Description
Company Job Description/Day to Day Duties:
- Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, process order entries and dispense medications accurately and timely for assigned area, utilizing the appropriate prescription processing technology
- Ensure that all prescription entries and dispensing are in compliance with all quality standards and programs
- Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, perform assigned duties associated with the entry, patient/health center contact, preparation, dispensing, and distribution of mail order prescriptions
- Receive and store incoming supplies. Verify stock and enter data to maintain inventory records
- Assist with various tasks assigned by the Pharmacist, patient care initiatives, prescription resolutions, including order/PAP drug check in and placement, drug return activities, physical inventories, over the counter fulfillment, and automation maintenance
- May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department
Qualifications
Minimum Education/Licensures/Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of pharm tech experience
- Certified Pharmacy Technician license (CPhT)
- High school diploma
- Strong data entry skills
