HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner to fill an opening with a large managed care company in Greensboro, North Carolina 27408

Daily Responsibilities for Nurse Practitioner:

• The Nurse Practitioner delivers defined patient care services in a retail clinic environment, working collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals.
• This role involves independently providing holistic, evidence-based care to patients aged 18 months and above.
• Responsibilities include accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning, all documented in a computerized electronic health record.
• Educate patients on maintaining proper health to influence quality outcomes.
• Evaluate, recommend, co-manage, and treat patients’ medical needs to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Document all patient care in an electronic health record system.
• Contribute to the development of Patient-Centered Practice Teams.
• Respond promptly to patient care inquiries throughout the day.
• Increase patient engagement and satisfaction by integrating feedback from patients, management, and colleagues.
• Maintain open communication at all levels to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Resolve conflicts using appropriate management techniques.
• Foster strong relationships among practice employees and retail colleagues.
• Balance priorities to effectively manage patient care and operational needs.
• Perform both clinical and non-clinical tasks to enhance clinic efficiency.
• Adapt to new patient care models to ensure operational effectiveness.
• Demonstrate core values in all communications and interactions.
• Assist in hiring and developing practice employees.
• Enhance operational effectiveness with a focus on cost containment while maintaining quality care.
• Validate insurance coverage and incorporate knowledge into care plans.
• Shift: Clinic hours, Requires working every other weekend
  
  
  

Required Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner:

• Active and unrestricted NP license in the state of North Carolina
• Active DEA registration or willingness to obtain one: must be started at time of offer.
• All NP resumes must have the completed candidate questionnaire attached.
• NP license in the state of North Carolina
• 1 year of professional experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Completion of a Masters Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role required.

Pay: $74.84 - $78.00 an hour
