Job Description
As a licensed master social worker, you will work in coordination with other healthcare professionals to create a therapeutic environment for patients and families. Your primary responsibility will be to assess patients' biopsychosocial history and needs, developing effective discharge plans that reflect an understanding of their unique circumstances.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting interviews with patients, relatives, and friends to gather essential information
- Assisting patients and families with issues arising from hospital admission and developing comprehensive discharge plans
- Providing individual, spousal, family, and group psychotherapy sessions
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A NY license
- BLS certification through AHA
- CASAC certification (preferred)
